Founded in 1959, by Jacques Gonidec, the Seaguls of Arvor, named after a local football club, in Concarneau when the caning industry started to decline. Over the years, the range of sardines, tuna and mackerel has expanded. Many specialties, new flavors have come to join the traditional recipes. The same know-how accompanies the manufacture of these new products. At Gonidec, the profession of preserving has passed from generation to generation. Here, in the last cannery of Concarneau, quality is the key word. Here, one does not derogate with the principles that made and continue to make the reputation of the Seagulls of Arvor: the freshness of the fish and the hand work.
